TV & Recorder Repair
We'll arrange a time to come out to you. We diagnose the fault, tell you honestly whether it's worth repairing, and fix it properly. No unnecessary work or jargon.
Faults we regularly fix:
Sound faults or no sound at all
Picture faults, lines or a blank screen
Power & standby problems
No signal, tuning & aerial issues
HDMI & connection ports
Recorders & set-top boxes
Please note: We can't repair cracked or smashed screens. These can't be fixed economically
We come out to see the problem first-hand. We'll sort what we can there and then, or take the TV away for a full assessment. The call-out fee goes towards your final bill and that's the same for a wall mounting too. We always tell you the fee upfront, so there are no surprises when we arrive.
GOOD TO KNOW
Common questions
Q.
Do you repair cracked or smashed screens?
No. Unfortunately a cracked or smashed screen can't be repaired economically. Almost everything else (sound, picture, ports, recorders) we can.
Q.
How much will a repair cost?
It depends on the fault. We always give you an honest opinion first. Including telling you when it isn't worth fixing. So you can decide before any work goes ahead.
Q.
Do I bring it to you, or do you come to me?
We come to you and see if we can sort the issue there and then. If we can't, then we take it to our workshop for repair. A minimum £30 call-out fee applies and goes straight towards your final bill.
Q.
Which brands do you work on?
All of the main brand names. Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, and all the main ones. Some cheaper brands, it may not be economical to repair.
Q.
How long does wall mounting take?
We can usually do a mounting within a couple of hours. We tidy cables, level the TV, reconnect your devices, and clean up before we leave.
